Your name is DAVE. You are TWENTY years old and still haven't gotten use to LIVING ALONE. Ever since your BRO passed away, you have taken up on the shitty habit of SMOKING A PACK of cigarettes a day. You manage to get money, by LANDING GIGS in little hole-in-the-wall places most nights. You have a penchant for spinning out UNBELIEVABLY ILL JAMS with your TURNTABLES AND MIXING GEAR. Which is what has made you be able to DJ LIKE A BOSS. How ironic.
This is a role-play blog. I guess you could consider this like an AU. If you don't like it, then fuck you.
She could have groaned in frustration. Could have protested, kicked her feet, whined and complained about the feeling Dave’s mouth left on hers when their lips weren’t connected. She wanted to reach for him, grab him and pull him back to bed where they could spend all day lost in the taste and feel of each other’s mouths. But this was real life, and they had to, sigh, go do stuff.
“No,” Tavros sighed. Her hair was splayed about her head in a halo, looking up at Dave from her place on the bed. “I’ll just stay in here.” When Dave took a seat out on the balcony, Tavros sat up. Gosh…she didn’t want to be…clingy. But she really wanted to go be by him.
But even now she worried about Dave throwing her away. What if he got bored with her? Would things be different when they got back to Houston? Finally after a moment Tavros stood on wobbly legs and ventured out to the balcony, standing in the doorway. “Um…Is it okay if maybe I change my mind and come be by you?” She asked in a sheepish voice.
Dave had taken a long drag of his cigarette when he suddenly heard Tavros speak from the doorway. He smirked as the smoke slowly poured from his lips, turning his head in her direction. “I was hoping you would change your mind.”
The blonde grunted slightly as he sat himself up straight in the chair so Tavros could sit in his lap.
One little kiss- that immediately set out a spark that quickly set her entire being ablaze. She smiled, crawling on the bed and resting her head in Dave’s lap. She stared up at him; pink lips, freckles, fair hair and red, red eyes.
She couldn’t help but smile wistfully and sigh, reaching up to finger at his hair. “Dunno,” she mumbled. She was already gone- it was incredible how something she swore never to do happened- and that was okay. Because waking up this morning, seeing Dave’s sleepy face next to hers, was something she wanted to wake up to for a long time.
Maybe even forever.
But that also scared her. She didn’t know much about Dave, but what she did know, she definitely liked. A lot.
“Epcot, maybe?”
Dave smiled faintly and leaned slightly into Tavros’ touch, keeping red eyes fixated upon her. He brought the cup to his lips and took a sip of the coffee. “That sounds like a plan.”
The blonde then chugged a good amount of the coffee before setting the cup on the nightstand beside the bed. He leaned down, cupping Tavros’ cheek with his hand and pressed several soft kisses to her lips.
“I’m going to go smoke. You’re more than welcome to come and join me on the balcony.” And with that said, Dave slipped out of the bed and was now on a mission to find his cigarettes - which he found on the table in the living room area of their villa. The blonde had made himself comfortable in the same chair as the previous morning, though this time he was in a much better mood. How could he not be?
Dave Strider’s life was finally taking a step in the right direction.
Tavros smiled a little bit, sighing. Well, of course she didn’t expect him to pop right up like she normally did, but. Hey, a girl can dream, right? She just…couldn’t get enough. Enough of his skin, his mouth, his eyes. She wanted all of him so, so badly. In every way, shape and form. She lay down beside him, her head resting on the same pillow. “It’s, uh…gonna cost you,” she said with a little grin. After a moment Tavros pushed herself up again, reaching to wind her fingers into Dave’s hair and run them through his fair mop one time. “But, yes. I will.”
Maybe it was too needy of her but Tavros wanted to kiss him again. And again. And again. Would he think it was stupid to always want kisses? To ask for them? Maybe. So, she kept her mouth shut and stood up.
She came back with only one mug- she didn’t really need coffee in the mornings. Especially not this morning- the memory of Dave’s mouth was plenty enough to keep her going for days on end.
Dave sat up slowly as he heard Tavros walk back into the room, propping himself up on the headboard. He leaned over as he wrapped his hand around the cup, brushing his lips against Tavros’ before smiling faintly. “Thanks.”
The blonde quickly pecked her lips - almost in a teasing manner - and took a sip of his coffee. This was something else Dave knew he could get used to. Tavros making him the perfect cup of coffee. Though there were many things he knew he could get used to, being with Tavros; her cooking, her voice, her kisses, her everything.
He smiled to himself at the thought, then glanced over at Tavros. “So, princess, which park would you like to explore today?”
“Me, too,” Tavros mumbled, her face now pressed into Dave’s chest. She shuffled flush against him and closed her eyes. This was surreal- incredible. Too good to be true- in a few moments she would open her eyes, having never met Dave. He wasn’t even real, just a figment of her stupid imagination.
She would go on being single until she was dead, married only to her job and, well. Her job. But of course this wasn’t a dream, and of course Dave was real. He was right here, planting sweet kisses across her brow and holding her oh-so-tightly to his chest.
The remainder of the evening was filled with soft chat, and even softer kisses. Tavros familiarized herself with Dave’s mouth and the feeling of not having their lips pressed together had become foreign by the end of the evening.
It felt nice to fall asleep with a kiss on her lips, curled up under heavy blankets with someone she actually wanted to be there. And it was even better when she woke up.
Of course, Tavros awoke early again. But not as early as yesterday- it was 9:46, the latest she had woken up in a long time, actually. She sighed, giving a little groan as she stretched beside Dave. Propping herself up she smiled down on her sleeping boyfriend, peppering his face with kisses.
“If you’re as grumpy this morning as you were yesterday I won’t kiss you all day long,” she mumbled by his ear.
Dave’s eyes fluttered open - his brow furrowed as he was awoken from the light kisses that Tavros left behind. He groaned slightly as he stretched, a yawn slipping past pale lips. “Mm,” was all he managed to mumble as he rolled onto his stomach, tucking his arms under the pillow. He allowed his red hues to lull back to a close and sighed.
“Could you make me some coffee?” The blonde opened his eyes once more and smiled faintly as he looked over at Tavros. “You make the best coffee.”
Tavros couldn’t put a finger on what word to use- nothing she said would sum up the way her heart fluttered when he asked that.
She was waiting too long to answer, she knew that. But she wanted to revel in this moment for just a while longer: how Dave had completely let his guard down and was waiting on her to make this choice. It wasn’t the other way around- Dave wanted her. Though she wanted him, as well, the fact that it was him who said it made her feel that much better about this.
“Good,” she finally said. Good? Just good? No, way. It feels way better than good. You can’t even remember being this happy. Not in a long, long time.
“Good?” Dave raised his brow and smirked, “I guess I can handle that.” He moved closer to Tavros, moving up slightly on the bed. The male began pressing soft kisses against her hair as his arms wound tightly around her.
Dave slowly closed his eyes, trying to fully take in the fact that the woman in his arms was now his girlfriend. This made him smile, pressing his cheek against the top of Tavros’ head.
“I think,” Tavros started between kisses. “It would be nice,” kiss, “if you never,” kiss, “ever, ever stopped,” kiss, “kissing me.”
Well, that was the truth. From this point on Tavros made a vow to never go a single waking hour without a taste of Dave’s lips. And these were sweet, innocent kisses- the brush of lips together, crushing torsos, fingers gliding through dark or light hair.
But once Tavros’s head had become dizzy from lack of breath and overwhelming amount of Dave’s mouth she pulled away with kiss-swollen lips.
This was something that she was hoping for, honestly. She had kind of been lying to herself since inviting Dave over- You don’t want to be with a guy like this. Look at him! He’s a mess- probably worthless as it gets. He’s definitely not the guy for you.
But here she was- a frenzy of arms and legs, of heavy breathing and light touches. The most glorious mess she had ever been a part of.
The blonde sighed as he had caught his breath, softly brushing his fingers through Tavros’ hair. “This place really is magical.” He smirked, not even caring if he sounded cheesy for saying what he did. Dave moved his hand from Tavros’ hair, resting his palm against her cheek. He slowly brushed his thumb over her cheek and smiled.
It was happening again. Suddenly he felt his heart start racing as his mind did the same. Should I ask her? Is it too soon? What’s the worst that could happen? She can either say yes, or say no. Hopefully not the latter. If so, then what? Does it push her away? Or does she act like the question was never asked, and we continue things as they are? Well, hell. It’s worth a shot.
Dave bit down on his bottom lip as he looked over Tavros’ face. Her beautiful face. Wow, why had it taken him this long to realize exactly how beautiful she was? He took a deep breath, ready to take his chances.
“I hope it isn’t too soon to ask this, but.. how does being called “Dave’s girlfriend” sound to you?”
Tavros’s arms wound lightly around Dave’s shoulders and she beamed down at him, chewing at her bottom lip as usual. “Well, uh…I kind of just…” Tavros shrugged, resting her brow against Dave’s. “Am happy, I guess.” She closed her eyes then, giving Dave’s waist a little squeeze with her legs. “Let’s go back to the room,” she said softly. That sounded a little bit too suggestive, and she honestly didn’t mean it like that. It had been a long day.
Not only that but she wanted to get a taste of Dave’s mouth a little more.
And she did- barely a moment before they were in the door, Tavros’s mouth was on Dave’s pink lips again, familiarizing herself with the planes of his mouth. She wasn’t after sex- no, she was definitely not ready for that, but Tavros definitely wanted to get more familiar with the physical aspect of Dave.
She backed up as the door closed behind the both of them, dragging Dave along with little kisses until they had reached the bed. In one smooth movement she had kicked off her boots and climbed up onto the bed, leading Dave in her wake to follow.
Everything had become a complete blur once they reached their villa. Dave was now being led into their bedroom by Tavros’ lips - something he knew he would never get enough of - and he was soon hovering over Tavros on the bed. He took a moment to look over Tavros as he wet his lips, taking everything in.
Dave flashed Tavros a smile before he leaned down to continue what they had been doing. Though now that they were alone, he took the time to allow everything to sink in. His lips moved slow against her’s. His hand finding her waist as he moved to her side - never breaking the contact of their lips. Dave kicked off his boots before he found his legs tangled at the foot of the bed with Tavros’.
This was all starting to feel so surreal. Almost like a dream. A dream he never wanted to wake up from.
He finally felt his heartbeat return to normal, no longer feeling like he needed to be careful with what he did or said. This trip, that kiss - were what now changed everything.
Tavros felt a jolt go through her being when Dave’s lips tore away from hers and she felt like getting down on her hands and knees to plead for more. His fingers in her hair, at her scalp, a hand at her back, the taste of his mouth on hers when she licked her lips. Tavros was experiencing sensory overload and she was pretty sure she was absolutely wasted just by one little kiss.
“No,” was all she said with a little shake of her head. One kiss was definitely not enough and she really wanted to convey that to Dave the best way she could. As gracefully as she could manage in her all-too-enthusiastic state her lips trapped his again, their mouths a working frenzy against each other’s.
Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to kiss like this at a Disney theme park but Tavros really didn’t care. Nobody else knew how she felt right now- how she felt about Dave- nor would she ever allow someone to. Even if someone could feel a hair of what she was feeling they would be overwhelmed by the massive amount of pure emotion that traveled from her head to her toes.
Too many breathless kisses later to count Tavros pulled away, their lips making the most amazing sound she had ever heard as they parted. Her brain felt like it was stuck in a washer, spinning in circles and free of anything but noise- Dave’s voice, his laugh, the way he played guitar.
Tavros stood on her tiptoes, nuzzling their faces together for a brief moment before her hands slid down to rest on Dave’s stomach, gripping his jacket lightly in her fingers which, she noticed, were not shaking.
She was not nervous. She was not afraid. She was not trembling.
Brown eyes looked up, locking steadfast with red ones while she waited for Dave to speak. Something- other than an apology. If he apologized again she was pretty sure she was gonna have to shut him up with more kisses.
After another round of kisses, Dave stared at Tavros - nearly breathless. By this point, his mind was running a million miles a second. Everything that was happening, everything that had happened.. It was unbelievable.
Dave smiled wide, his hands slipping down to her thighs as he picked her up. He spun the two of them around slightly, keeping a firm grip on Tavros. The male started thinking about what everyone else was probably thinking about them right now, but he honestly didn’t care.
Fuck what everyone else thinks. You, Dave Strider, are now the happiest you’ve been in years. Don’t let the presence of strangers change this moment. Take it all in. Breathe. Don’t drop Tavros. Don’t let her go. Don’t ever let Tavros go.
Dave now his arms wrapped around Tavros’ waist to hold her up, since she was holding herself up by having her legs wrapped around his own waist. “Are you sure you’re Tavros Nitram? The Tavros I knew was a nervous little wreck all of the time.” He smiled, his red orbs now fixated up on big, brown eyes.
